1. Can you describe your role and key responsibilities at Sterling Properties?
I’m Sterling’s Property Inspector, completing the annual routine maintenance inspections on all properties in our portfolio across residential, commercial and industrial. I create detailed reports on the individual properties while logging any maintenance issues or concerns from the tenant. I am also responsible for checking any fire safety related issues including smoke alarm testing.
2. What does the concept of the ‘Sterling difference’ mean to you?
The ‘Sterling difference’ is consistent improvement! Our amazing team is always striving to improve – consistently achieving and progressing as a business.
3. What do you enjoy the most about your role at Sterling?
Sterling is a brilliant company filled with great people. I love how each department within the business is willing to teach and help one another which has allowed me to progress and learn beyond my role. I also really enjoy meeting new people and tenants every day and seeing how Sterling is positively impacting their lives.
4. How do you like to spend your time when you’re not working?
When i’m not working, I spend most of my time with my friends and family, attending sports events and going to the gym.
5. Can you share an interesting or unusual fact about yourself?
My grandparents had a talking parrot when I was younger!
6. If you could have dinner with any person, (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
I’d be fascinated to hear Muhammad Ali’s story to success and how he managed to become so successful in such a difficult time. I’d love for him to see the huge impact he’s had on the sporting world.
