Here’s a closer look at how we helped Forbes Bespoke Tailoring set up their new Cheshire location at 26 Water Lane, Wilmslow.
The Project
In July 2023, Bracken Property Company acquired a retail shop situated on Wilmslow’s bustling high street. At the time of purchase, the property was vacant and part of an adjoining unit. Recognising the potential, we quickly devised a plan to convert the space into a self-contained ground-floor retail unit and a one-bedroom apartment above.
During this transformation, an agent reached out to us representing Forbes Bespoke Tailoring, a distinguished tailor and suite maker from Glasgow. They had pinpointed Water Lane as their ideal location for a new Cheshire branch. After viewing the property, it was clear that not only did they find the retail unit ideal, but the newly converted first-floor apartment was also a perfect fit for one of their staff members.
The property underwent a significant internal transformation to separate it from the adjoining unit. Within just eight weeks, the residential apartment was fully converted. By November, the deal was finalised, and Forbes Bespoke Tailoring had secured their new home.
Our team maintained close communication with Forbes during their fit-out process for the retail unit. By February, they celebrated their soft opening, marking a new chapter for their brand in Cheshire.
We are thrilled to see Forbes Bespoke Tailoring thriving in their new location. Their success is a testament to the collaborative efforts of everyone involved. The seamless conversion and timely completion were key to meeting their needs and ensuring a smooth transition.
